Dean is the CEO of Motorcars Incorporated in Plainville, Connecticut, which provides automotive sales and service to the community, and is one of the premier automotive restoration shops.

Dean has been involved in the automotive restoration industry for more than 45 years and is a certified judge for concours d’elegance by Jaguar Clubs of North America. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Coventry Foundation, an organization that perpetuates the Jaguar marque and historical information.

Currently the New England Regional director for Jaguar Clubs of North America, Dean is a past recipient of the prestigious “Andrew Whyte Distinguished Service Award by Jaguar Cars for Overall Automotive Contribution.”

Dean and his talented crew at Motorcars Incorporated have revived more than 225 Jaguar E-Types, many to a level of quality such that they have been recognized by judges at multiple shows and concours in North America. In 2019, three separate North American Champion Jaguar divisions were won concurrently.

He is a vintage Jaguar racing hobbyist, holding numerous records in slalom and road racing, and has earned multiple awards in automobile display and concours.

Over the years, Dean has taken time out of his busy work schedule to create and judge many cause-related concours d’elegance events all over New England, including the Dream Show in Farmington, Connecticut, which was founded in 2013. Dream Show takes place during The Dream Ride Experience, a multi-day event that attracts vehicles and participants from all over the world. In 2024, the event raised $7 million for multiple causes. Dean is a recipient of the Dream Ride Hall of fame, recognized for his accomplishments for Unified Sports Programs and for contributions to worldwide programs for Special Olympics.

As a result of his expertise and dedication to the automotive community, Dean was selected to create and lead the judging team for the New England Concours d’Elegance to celebrate Hemmings Motor news 70th anniversary in 2024.
